1977 Austro-Daimler "Vent Noir II" An Update

Some updated photos of the Vent Noir II ...
I've switched over to a Brooks Professional in honey, a brass bell, a Silca pump, brown leather handle bar wrap and new cable housing that plays off the greenish gold of the smoked chrome finish and decals. The tires savers have been added as well, lovely and hand crafted by my friend Scott.

1977 Austro-Daimler "Vent Noir II"

The black wind, it's smoked chrome finish has an incredible depth and color .... I recently purchased this Vent Noir II from it's original owner in Indiana via a listing on Craigslist.  Perfectly and carefully packed, it arrived in excellent condition and other than swapping out the saddle for a Brooks Professional I haven't even had to wipe it down.  It's an elegant riding bicycle that lives up to it's name.

1976 Austro-Daimler "Ultima Superleicht"

This "Ultima Superleicht" was given to Eugene "Gene" Rito by Steyr-Daimler-Puch in appreciation for all the hard work Gene and his team at LifeCycle had done on designing and developing the Austro-Daimler brand in the U.S.  This very bike was used in the 1976 A-D catalog.  Except for the water bottle, it's 100% original.
